A power play goal from Gabe Tanton at 7:00 of the third would get the Miners back even at 4.  Late Pushes by both teams would not result in any more scoring and this game would head to sudden death overtime.

At 4:32 of the overtime frame McLaren Paulsen would score his second of the game to send this series to Game 5.

Christian Lynch was named the games first star for his performance between the pipes for the Ice Dogs.
