Baden Pazdzierski scored three goals as the Dryden GM Ice Dogs defeated the Red Lake Miners 4–1 on Saturday, September 19, at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
Pazdzierski opened the scoring at 11:50 of the first period, with Reidar Paquette earning the assist. Adam Zamecnik doubled the lead just 1:55 into the second period on a goal assisted by Jeremy Hutchison.
Red Lake got on the board at 4:03 of the third period when Manny Ross scored to make it 2–1. The Ice Dogs answered while shorthanded: Pazdzierski scored his second of the night at 11:45, assisted by Tegan Kerr. He completed the hat trick at 14:33, with assists from Miller Bruckshaw and Ryder Wolfe.
Carsten Komorowski made 28 saves for Dryden, while Gabriel Donohue stopped 49 shots for Red Lake. The Ice Dogs outshot the Miners 53–29. Neither team scored on the power play, with both going 0-for-3.
