Brenden Stroble stopped 55 shots en route to his third straight win and the Lakers third straight as well.
The Miners would get on the score board first when Colton Crysler scored his 12th of the season at 2:43 of the first period.
Second period action saw the Lakers tie the game at 1 when Ethan Raduy took advantage of a Miners miscue in there own end to score his first goal at 5:49. Jacob Lamoureux’s league leading 19th at 13:06 would restore the one goal lead for the Miners. Cooper Fink scored his first in a Laker jersey at 17:13 to tie the game at 2.
The Lakers would take the lead in the third period on Fink’s second of the night, a power play tally at 13:13. A late push by the Miners would not be successful as Stroble would shut the door the rest of the way to preserve the Lakers 3-2 win.
