The English River Miners are proud to announce the signing of ’97 Goalie Korlan Vader.
Vader is a product of the AAA Midget Sherwood Park Kings. Korlan started 26 games last season, sporting a 10-7-4 record with a .905% and a 2.85 GAA. Korlan has played all his minor hockey career in his hometown of Sherwood Park, AB. In his 2nd year of Bantam he played in the Bantam AA Allstar Game and was awarded the team MVP honours for the Bantam AA Leafs. He then went on to make the Alberta Cup team for his Northeast Region and backstopped them into the gold medal game en route to the Alberta Cup Championship. The following season Korlan’s minor midget AAA Squires won the Provincial Championship in Alberta. Korlan played the next 2 seasons with the Midget AAA Kings in Sherwood Park. At the end of his final season, Korlan was awarded the team MVP honours.
Korlan is an amazing young talent and we are proud that he is joining the Miner Family.
