Defenseman Bradyn Rowsell Joins the Red Lake Miners

Red Lake, Ontario – The Red Lake Miners are pleased to announce the signing of talented defenseman Bradyn Rowsell for the upcoming season. Hailing from Fort McMurray, AB, Rowsell brings a wealth of skill, determination, and potential to the Miners’ roster.
Rowsell, born in 2005, showcased his abilities as a player for the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers u18 AAA team. Over the course of 34 games, he recorded 7 points, consisting of 3 goals and 4 assists.
When asked about his decision to join the Miners, Rowsell said he is ”excited by the program’s recent success. I trust Coach Stone’s track record of player development and the team’s potential to build championship-caliber squads.” Rowsell also emphasized his eagerness to represent the Red Lake     community, known for its unwavering support of its local team.
Looking ahead, Rowsell has set ambitious goals for himself. In the short term, he aims to “contribute to the Miners’ success in any way possible and help the team reach the prestigious Centennial Cup.” In the long term, his aspirations include “playing at the NCAA or USPORTS level following his junior career.”
Coach Stone, thrilled to have Rowsell on board, praised the defenseman’s exceptional skating abilities and his ability to join the play and pose a threat from the backend. Stone also commended Rowsell’s strong work ethic and expressed his excitement to work with the young talent. “He’s a great kid that works really hard and is excited to be here. We are looking forward to working with Bradyn,” Stone said.
