Corbett Set To Return With Miners

Red Lake, ON – The Red Lake Miners, a proud member of the Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL), are happy to announce the return of Aiden Corbett for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. Corbett’s impressive performance last season has made him an invaluable asset to the team.

With 15 goals, 26 assists, and 41 points in 45 games played, Corbett has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with on the ice. His dedication, skills, and leadership have earned him a well-deserved spot as one of the highest scoring returning players in the SIJHL.

Corbett, expressing his excitement about returning to the team and the community, said, “I’m looking forward to being back in the community and to be with my teammates. Together, we have the potential to achieve great things this season!”

Setting his goals high, Corbett highlighted his short-term objective of having a hot start to the season and being fully prepared for training camp. Looking ahead, he aims to “bring the Bill Salonen Cup back to Red Lake and be a positive leader in the locker room.” He firmly believes that a successful regular   season will set the team up for an impressive playoff run.

Head Coach and General Manager Lee Stone spoke highly of Corbett, stating, “Aiden is a very talented player and one of the highest scoring returning players in the SIJHL. We expect him to take the next step in his development and be a dominant force for our team this season. We are extremely excited to have him back in Red Lake.”
