THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced that tonight’s scheduled preseason contest between the Red Lake Miners and Fort Frances Lakers at Ice for Kids Arena has been postponed.
The cause of the postponement is due to a breakdown of the Miners’ team bus, thus preventing Red Lake from travelling to Fort Frances in time for the contest.
A make-up date for this postponed game may still be scheduled before the commencement of next Friday’s start of the regular reason, should ice become available and the Miners’ bus is repaired in time.
