For the second straight Wednesday the Sioux Lookout Bombers made their way to the Cochenour Arena to face the Red Lake Miners.  Jake Manners would get the start for the Bombers while Jack Osmond would get the start for the Miners.

Sioux Lookout would get on the board first when a shot from the point hit Aidan Milburn’s backside and redirected past Osmond for a 1-0 lead at 3:49. At 8:49 Lucas Trimarchi would bang home a loose puck for his 7th of the season.  The Bombers would carry a 2-0 lead into the first intermission.

Second period action saw Owen Riffel take advantage of a defensive zone miscue by the Miners.  Miners picked off an errant pass and ripped one past Osmond for his 5th of the season at 13:38 for a 3-0 Bombers lead.  After 40 minutes the Bombers lead by 3.

Colton Crysler would get the Miners on the board at 4:50 ripping one past Manners for his 10th of the year.   Crysler would get his 11th at 9:19 finishing off a nice passing play with Aiden Corbett to pull the Miners within one.  After a Bombers timeout Quintyn Sidaway would notch his 3rd of the season at 11:16 to tie the  game at 3.   The game would remain that way through the last part of the third and would head to overtime.

Both teams had man advantages during the 5 minutes of overtime but nothing was decided.  This game would head to a shoot out.   Ty Bahm would score on the first Bombers chance and Jake Manners stopped all 3 shooters he faced to give the Bombers a 4-3 victory.
